My little Glory… the perfect little package! To quote a judge as he rubbed his hands over her, “She feels like velvet because she is so dairy!” This girl is the perfect little dairy wedge, sharp shoulder assembly, angular, nice spring of rib and open.  She has a beautiful rear leg set.  I am very pleased with her to say the least…And it does not hurt that she is cute as a bug! She was just a little bitty thing this past spring and did very well in the show ring going 3 times RGCH… I am looking forward to getting her back in the ring once she gets a little more size on her. UPDATE: Glory did not disappoint me! After she grew a little she not only picked up her junior leg...she went BEST in SHOW!

I am very excited about Nutmeg! I love her dam and her full brother Noble is gorgeous. This girl has tremendous length of body with a nice top line and rump. She has great dairy character and body capacity. I am looking forward to watching her mature and cannot wait to see what her udder is like when she freshens. Nutmeg is a spoiled little stinker…she chews on EVERYTHING and drives me nuts! Rotten & B-A-D! LOL
Bella
Although Bella will never see a show ring and will never be bred… She still has earned her place here at Bayou Country. She holds the title of “Dad’s Favorite”, “Herd Queen” and a dear place in my heart!  She was my first Nigerian Dwarf and has a forever home here. It brings a smile to my face every time I think about new people coming to see my goats. My husband will proudly pick her up, all 65lbs of her, and say, “This is Bella and she was the first”. I LOVE that! She is “His Favorite” and he is “Her Favorite Person”… no show ring or pedigree can beat that! <3

Hope: One definition of hope is “to desire with expectation of obtainment.” I had hope that I would one day get a NICE chocolate and white doe with blue eyes… AND I GOT HER! :-))) (Thank you Cindy!) So of course her name had to be “Hope”!  A very flashy girl with one of the nicest rear leg sets I have ever seen with a bowling ball escutcheon! She is very open and has a nice deep and wide barrel. I love what the judge told me after she picked Hope for “BEST in SHOW”. She said, “She had me the minute she walked into the ring!” This girl is gorgeous and SPOILED rotten LOL!

Simply put Cana is just beautiful and such a sweet heart! I am so in love with her. She is a long bodied very dairy girl, so graceful on the move; she just catches your eye and demands you to take a second look.  She has a super sharp shoulder assembly and stands on a beautiful set of feet and legs…great rear leg angulation. I have long admired Malachi’s daughters with their high socked on udders. Cana did not disappoint me when she freshened for the first time with a high and well attached udder that is typical of Malachi daughters. She did very well in the show ring going first in the senior yearling class at all the shows we attended. I am looking forward to seeing what this beauty will bring to our herd as she matures.
Cana has consistently produced some of our nicest kids! She has two Finished Champion daughters in our herd. She only needs one more leg to be a Finished Champion herself but like a friend said, with her daughters in the ring she may never get it... BUT that is okay. She has a legacy of beautiful daughters here at Bayou Country! I LOVE this girl!!!

Jazz is a VERY dairy girl; her skin is extremely loose, thin and pliable. She has nice length of body… this girl is L O N G and is very open with a nice set of feet and legs. She has a very nice high escutcheon.  Although her rump could be flatter, if she freshens with an udder as nice as her moms it will be easy to overlook that. ;-) Jazz freshened for the first time with a really nice well attached udder with great capacity! She has a lovely MSL with nice long teats and wonderful udder texture. She placed very well in her classes as a FF and she even picked up a Reserve Grand Champion. I think she has a bright future in our herd. Jazz is a bossy thing with a lot of spunk. She can definitely hold her own in the herd.

My Josie…oh what a little beauty she is!  Like her mother she has great body capacity and dairy character.  She is so very dairy and open, a nice brisket with awesome rear leg angularity, loose, thin, pliable skin with a nice escutcheon. She has done very well in the show ring as a young junior going Jr Grand Champion and Best in Show against some stiff competition.  I love this little doe. She has such a sweet disposition. Josie freshened for the first time with a nice udder. Her udder is high, well attached with a nice globular shape. She has a nice smoothly blended fore udder. I am looking forward to watching her mature.

“Maggie” is a flashy doe! She has a nice long body, with sharp shoulders and nice spring of ribs.  She has a very nice flat rump.  She did very well in the show ring as a junior and I am very proud of my girl!  Maggie freshened for the first time with a very correct first freshening udder although she lacked capacity. She had a single kid and I am looking forward to her second freshening to see if we can add some capacity to her pretty udder. Her mother Maple also lacked capacity as a FF and also only had a single…but she more than made up for it as a second and third freshener adding the capacity to her correct udder. I am anticipating Maggie doing the same. She is defiantly a little “Minnie Me” and is the spitting image of her flashy mother…but with a lot more refinement.  While her mom is a quite girl, Maggie lets her presents be known. :-) She is a spoiled little Diva!

“Ellie” is an extremely lovely doe! She has great body capacity and dairy character. She is a very upstanding doe…great general appearance! She has done very well in the show ring as a junior going “Best In Show” at the Mississippi State fair against some tough competition. Ellie has nice capacity. Her udder is high, well attached with a nice globular shape. She has an awesome smoothly blended fore udder although she could use better teat size and placement. She is known as “Mom’s favorite” around our home and my daughter Jessica is offended on behalf of the other girls! :-) I can’t help it…I just love this doe! Those blue eyes and moonspots of her's just add some “bling bling” to the package!

Maple has great body capacity! She has a very deep wide chest and barrel. She also has a nice level topline. She is always complemented by the judges on her body capacity and what a powerful doe she is. Maple had a very correct first freshening udder although she lacked capacity. She had a single kid and I looked forward to her second freshening to see if she would add some capacity to her pretty udder. Well I am happy to say that Maple's second freshening udder had the capacity she was lacking as a FF! :-) She has nice teat size and very open orifices…she milks very well. “Mape Mape” is my baby girl! She is a very quiet and sweet doe but does stand out with her flashy pinto markings. I love my Kingwood granddaughter.

Halo is a beautiful Tae-Bo daughter that I had admired at Lost Valley. When she was offered to me I jumped at the chance to own her. She has awesome capacity and attachments with a high wide rear udder and a nice fore udder. She has nice orifices and is easy to milk. She is a powerful doe that catches your eye. I am so excited about her future here at Bayou Country! Halo has such a sweet gentle personality and has quickly become one of the favorites of my young grandchildren as they lead her around "practicing" for showmanship class. Which has endeared her to me for the patience and gentleness she shows them.

I am so pleased with Jetta! I have waited for several years for a Celebrity daughter but after a difficult kidding and undergoing a c-section they have not been able to get her to settle. So I was very excited when Audrey offered Jetta to me! And boy did she not disappoint me… Going to her first show and taking Grand Champion and Best Udder! This girl is a dream to milk! Lovely udder texture, nice teat size and very open orifices she milks down to nothing in no time. She has quickly become one of my favorite girls to milk. Jetta has a nicely attached udder with a strong MSL. When she first came here she was a little shy and standoffish but it did not take her long at all to be waiting for me at the gate for her turn to be milked. And it did not take long for me to fall in love with her! Now she is under foot and looking for treats just like the rest of the herd. Love this girl!

Kindle is a sweetie! She is a very flashy girl with a quiet and gentle personality. She is a small package but is very well put together...a really pretty little doe. Niobe is the littermate sister to Nola and the name sake of her grand dam Lost Valley JL Niobe, in honor of Niobe for blessing me with my beautiful Nori. I had plans to sell this girl but she stayed a little too long… I became attached to her and she was so bonded to Nola I hated to see them parted so she stayed. She is not quite as long as her sister but still has nice length of body with awesome body capacity… this girl is very wide with a lot of spring of rib, pretty top line and open. Like her sister I cannot wait to see her freshen and mature.  Niobe has the same calm sweet temperament as her sister…when she looks at you with her pretty blue eyes she just melts your heart.
